Afternoon Clouds

Afternoon clouds and the sun
There I stood looking at the sky
With a emerald shade of blue
Just looking at you

I loved you then,  I love you now
In the afternoon clouds
I thought of you
No matter how near or far

My thoughts are with you
Your heart and mine entwined
Beneath the moonlit night
Afternoon clouds
