She gives me such delight
With a special glow
Like a light
She plays her music all night

As I drift off to dream land
I think of her and weep
I want my fairy by my side
To love and hold

I want to share my feelings
Let her know I miss her so
My fairy your so fair
A beautiful fairy of my own

Your voice low as you
Whisper I love you
Give me a big hug
And a smile so bright

I am in a fairy land
Of my own
When I have memories
Of you and I

Your touch is light
Like a feather
As I see your shadow
On the wall

Family Violence

I was raised with a violence father.  It happened almost every day.  My mother tried to stop it but could not.  He would get drunk and come home to beat one of us or both. He was very mean.  The  police would not do anything to him. He got away with everything he did. No matter how bad it was. I would often think I would never make it.
