By The Sea

I come to the sea
To watch the waves ride high
To hear the whisper of the wind
To feel the breeze against my skin

As I look out the moon is full
The stars are bright
It is so silent
I can think

I love the sun
So quiet and peaceful
So wide and deep
With the ships that sail

As I walk along
I find the sea shells
So beautiful to see
I listen at my ear of the sea

I look up at the moon
Make a wish
I know will come true
The sea is there for me

By the sea is where I want to be
My home I will make it
I will lay under the moon and stars
It will all be my own

Dolphins are playing
Seagulls overhead
People gathered around
The sea so blue

It is a sight to see
So much to do
On the seashore
By the sea

One Black Rose

One black rose was pushed under my door Withered dark blood spilling within A smile like a ghost Was painted on the post The darkness is around me As the shadows dance to me One black rose in my hand With tiny beads of death My veins are popping up As ringing in my ears I wring my hands And cover my tracks I am so worn and weary Never knowing What is coming next The pain comes upon me As my head spins My body is on fire My soul is not my own Where can I go? To lose this black rose I am losing control Fighting for my life I don't know what to do As I lay on the ground Blood all around My heart is flowing As the last breath I take

A shadow

A shadow is following me Everywhere I go It knows my every move How far can I go? I feel a breeze upon my cheek A single tear falls I silently wish upon a star A shadow on my shoulder watching me Whispers my name A shadow that won't go away It holds me still I cannot move It is like a shadow of silence So quiet not a sound to be heard A silent shadow A shadow of the night Knows everything Like a shadow on the wall Each night as I try to sleep I see a shadow on the wall It will not leave me alone It came in the stillness Of the night Like a whisper of the wind A shadow that plays with my mind I feel so shallow and slow When will this shadow leave me alone
