On The Lake

The lake was glazed over last night
Such a beautiful sight with the stars
It sparked a fire in his eyes
He whispered my name

A lovely view sitting on a bench
I wanted nothing more to do
As he leaned against me
He kept me warm and touched my hair

We was still on the crime scene
There was not enough time
He gently kissed me and smiled
I said I love you baby

My eyes were opened wide
As you said I love you too
My affection was shown
To our true connection

Our crime was perfect
For we never got caught
As we parted from the scene
We stole each other's heart

He was in the Army when I was born.  When he got back. He made it clear he did not want me or love me.  When I was three he made me ride a bull.  I am lucky I did not get killed.  My mother was so scared.  Then my mother had my sister and she was sick.  She died in my arms w...
